Ujung Kulon National Park

Situated the extreme south-western tip of Java on the Sunda shelf,  includes the Ujung Kulon peninsula and several offshore islands and encompasses the natural reserve of Krakatoa. This park bears a status of World heritage site in 1992.In addition to its natural beauty and geological interest – particularly for the study of inland volcanoes – it contains the largest remaining area of lowland rainforests in the Java plain.

Explore the remote places of the wild and beautiful Ujungkulon National Park by trekking through the virgin coastal tropical rain forest, with opportunities of seeing animals, birds and other exotic fauna & flora of Ujungkulon, the last home of the endangered species Javan Rhinos. Feel the peaceful touch of nature, and watch the animals in their natural habitat. During the free time, you could enjoy swimming, snorkeling, or fishing on the crystal clear water of the park. You will have dinner over the campfire and overnight in tent, on the beautiful beach. 


Krakatau Island

Duration : 3D/2N

Krakatau (Krakatoa) volcano was located on the island of Rakata, 40 km off the west coast of Java. Since early historic ages, violent volcanic activity has been known to exist in the region. The "great eruption" of Krakatau must have taken place around 416 AD, as reported in ancient Javanese scriptures. The eruption formed three Islands (Rakata, Panjang, and Sertung), and caused a 7 km long caldera (cavity) to form underneath Rakata.

Sail the Sunda strait to observe the Krakatau. You will observe krakatoa island from the island right across the volcano, where your base camp will be placed. You will have dinner over the campfire and overnight in tents on the Sertung island. During free time, you can swim, snorkel and trekking around the island. 


Sawarna

Duration : 4D/3N, 3D/2N

Grade : Easy to Difficult

Start/Ends : Jakarta

Located in the south of Java island approx. 230 km from Jakarta. You can find spectacular objects like Beach, Caves, and Cliff.   Sawarna also popular among surfers as one of the best surfing place in west Java.  Increase you adrenalin by climbing the 80 metres high of cliff, and exploring the untouched caves, mountain biking, trekking through the rain forest, swimming and sunbathing, and also watch the daily life of local people.  You will have a seafood barbeque for meals and taste the fresh young coconut, provided by local people. The trip offers you the real adventure which really different with any other places. So, if you want to have one stop adventure experience, go to Sawarna.


Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park

 Gunung Gede-Pangrango, the twin volcanoes of West Java, is one of the first national parks in Indonesia. It covers a total forested area of 15,000 hectares. This area has a special place in the history of both conservation and botanical research in Indonesia. It includes the Cibodas Nature Reserve which has been the scene of numerous botanical and other studies for a period of well over a hundred years by a number of scientists and naturalists, including such eminent figures as Reinwardt, Junghunn and Wallace.


Gunung Halimun Salak National Park

Duration : 3D/2N

Grade : Easy

Starts/Ends : Jakarta

Located in West Java, Gunung Halimun, Sundanese for "The Mountains of the Mist", contains some of Indonesia's largest remaining lowland and montane forest in Java. The Park has abundant untouched wildlife and stunning scenery. With an  area of 113,000 hectares, the park is home for the endemic species Javan Gibbon and Javan Leaf Monkey, as well as birds, orchids, ferns, and many other species.

You can have many kind activities in and around the park, like trekking through the rain forest to watch animals and plants, bird watching, mountain biking in tea plantations in the middle of park, hiking and camping. 




Gunung Rinjani National Park

Duration : 5D/4N, 4D/3N, 3D/2N

Grade : Easy to Difficult

Start/End : Jakarta or Lombok

 

Mt. Rinjani forms the second highest volcanic peak in Indonesia, part of celebrated “Ring of Fire”. The dramatic landscape has been created over millions of year of cone - building, violent explosions, and erosion. Forested slopes rising directly from the sea create their own weather pattern and act as water - collectors for the hole of Lombok. Mount Rinjani is an active volcano in Indonesia on the island of Lombok. It rises to 3,726 m (12,224 ft), making it the third-largest volcano in Indonesia.

You will have a mountain trekking with fully organized, which combines adventure with leuser, ecotourism, and safety. You will take a rest and enjoy the beautiful panorama of segara anak lake (crater), hotsprings, and beautiful panorama along the route, through thick tropical forests rich in flora, bird life and a variety of butterflies. You might see orchid and, if lucky, the rare black ebony leaf monkey, known locally as lutung.  Enjoy proud feelings of satisfaction and the amazing sunrise views across the Wallace Line to Bali, Mt. Agung and Sumbawa, after enjoying the spectacular views down to the campsite.
