Borneo has always been a special place in the imagination of western people. It is a land to adventure, covering an area about 747.000 sq km, and one of the largest tropical rainforest in the world. Some areas are highland and other is flat or low land which is flowed by tremendous rivers. The land inhabited by Dayak and Malayan tribes, known as the indigenous people of Borneo. The land provides many exotic flora and fauna, such as; proboscis monkey, orangutan, gibbon, leopard, monitor lizard, honey bear, hornbill, kingfisher, argus peasant, the rare black orchid, hardest rain forest wood ”iron wood”, dipterocarp family, green pale glaring ferns, and many more.
